Offering supportive and social activities in an inclusive and friendly environment, we at NSCLC create opportunities for individuals and groups to enrich their lives through connections they may not otherwise have the opportunity to make.

We strive to bring the community together through supporting each other and learning as one.

With the help of local volunteers and community members we are proud to offer a place for all to connect and learn in a purposeful way. Through our support networks, we are able to offer the use of a facility that has been built with the local community in mind. A bright and welcoming centre for all.

Support

Our inviting rooms will help you feel right at home

Offering support with planned groups throughout the week, our social groups are held in warm, inviting rooms that will help you feel right at home.  Meet people that are facing similar issues, spend some time together, learn from one another and support each other.  NSCLC is a place to gain friends, a place that encourages you to grow and belong.

Learning

Through working together with the local community we offer a wide range of recognised courses as well as groups that help members of the centre upskill or learn about a subject or skill set.  With such a wide range of courses and learning groups on offer there is something for everybody and everyone is welcome.

Try your hand at a new craft or fitness technique with short courses and craft groups regularly on throughout the week. Here at NSCLC we aim to provide a diverse range of opportunity for all throughout the week.

Offering the opportunity to be part of the community, we encourage, support and learn together each and every day. Join in one of our Social Groups or Wellbeing groups and get involved, with groups that include Oil Painting, Applique, Social Craft, Men’s Shed and more, find the full list of support groups HERE, come in and get involved in your local area.

Facility

Access for all is a priority and we endeavour to enable anyone in the local area to visit our centre and engage in the opportunities we have on offer.

Ramp access makes visiting the centre easy for all and we also enable the recharging of personal scooters and motorised chairs while you visit.

Do you have a group or class that you would like to run?  Our facilities are second to none and available for hire.  We offer the ability to rent a space and hold your own activities for short or long term.  We believe the key to building a strong community is building it together, so ask us how we can work together to get your group active at NSCLC.
